How it works
Send what you have. Get a configuration back.
Most requirements do not match a standard part. ORBNEX Optic works from your documents and coordinates the build with qualified manufacturing partners.
01
You send the requirement
A bill of materials, cable schedule, drawing, port map, or a written scope.
02
Engineering reviews it
Pathway, density, connector interface, polarity, labeling, and packaging are resolved before anything is built.
03
Configuration and quotation
The configuration is documented and confirmed. Availability and schedule are confirmed with the quotation.
04
Sourcing and delivery
Manufacturing is coordinated with qualified partners against the agreed configuration, and packaged to your deployment plan.
Documentation
Nothing published before it is approved.
Documentation is requested and reviewed for the quoted configuration, then issued with its revision and issue date recorded.
Framework in development
ORBNEX Optic is developing a documented qualification and traceability framework for approved products and manufacturing partners.
- Configured to documented requirements
- The agreed configuration is the definition a partner builds to.
- Documentation on request
- Issued for the configuration quoted, with revision and issue date.
- Claims require evidence
- A specification or rating is published only once its supporting document is reviewed and approved.
